1. Definition

Tree rights are rights that every living tree has by virtue of its biological dignity.

• Right to work

• Right to just and favourable conditions of work

• Right to social security

• Protection of the family

• Right to an adequate standard of living

• Right to health

• Right to education

• Right to basic water supply

• Right to not being chopped down without a good reason

• Right to decide if you want to be cut down

• Right to living peacfully in the woods

• Right to having fertile soil

• Right to freedom of religion

• Right to personal freedom
